Death Valley 2013 - Day 3 - Charcoal Kilns, Mesquite Dunes
The night skies are fantastic in the desert, so I took several night shots under the moonlight that evening back at our campground.
Late sun on footprintfree textured sand in the foreground. Beyond is a valley with creosote bushes and many footprints. In the distance a lone photographer is on a ridge in front of the largest of the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. The Grapevine Mountains of the Amargosa Range are in the background. 3192013Mesquite Flat Sand DunesDeath Valley NP EF24105mm f4L IS USM 73mm f10 1400s ISO400 Death Valley National ParkCA 20130319 March 192013
