  • Sunrise from my back yard, including some unusual small clouds catching the light giving a speckled appearance (Shingle Springs, 7/12/2009)
  • Bird with a brilliant yellow face & chest, black back and back of head, and a white stripe on its shoulder sitting on a Red Hot Poker (red & yellow flower) by my driveway. Probably a male Bullock's Oriole. (5/29/2010)
