Bobcat in Field
I was quite excited when I spotted this bobcat in my field, as I don't recall ever seeing one before in the wild. Shooting conditions were far from ideal (it was 10 minutes or so after sundown, the bobcat was probably 100-150 yards away, and I was shooting with an APS-C DSLR from 2009), so I was pleasantly surprised at how well the other images cropped to tighter shots.

This photo gives a good idea of just how far away this bobcat was: This is shot with about a 900mm equivalent lens (400mm lens with 1.4x teleconverter on a 1.6 crop-factor body). I was pleasantly surprised at how well the photos cropped to tighter images.
