Super Blood Moon Total Eclipse - Sept. 27, 2015
On Sept. 27, 2015 we had a "super moon" (the moon is closer to the earth than usual so it's a little bigger) coupled with a total eclipse (the "blood moon"). Unfortunately on the west coast the eclipse started before sundown, and clouds covered it much of the time. But where I was the clouds cleared about 20 minutes before the end of the total eclipse, so I had fun photographing the end of the total eclipse, and the clouds around the moon were rather cool after the total eclipse.
