Death Valley 2013 - Day 5 - Titus Canyon Road
This road goes through some mountain country with vivid desert colors. It goes past the old (and short-lived) ghost town of Leadfield, before eventually reaching Titus Canyon itself (where we had been on foot the previous day).
Pale green brush on the foreground slopes lead to sharper mountains under blue sky. Rock colors include yellows and reds. You can see how the red rock has broken off the mountain to form rock slides, and darker-green bushes grow around those slides. (3/21/2013, Titus Canyon Road, Death Valley NP)
