Lassen 2009, Day 3 - Bumpass Hell

We hiked to Bumpass Hell, which is a geothermal area with hot springs & mud pots similar to what you would find in Yellowstone. The trail head is near Emerald Lake and Lake Helen, and the hike itself includes vistas of mountains and valleys.
