Lassen 2009, Day 5 - Burney Falls
We spent the day at Burney Falls State Park. It highlight is (of course), Burney Falls, which is a spectacular waterfall. In addition to the two main falls, water comes out of the surround cliff side making for a very wide overall fall. In addition, Burney Falls is fed by a spring, so it is spectacular pretty much all year round (unlike most California water falls that are great in the spring, but loose much of their water by late summer and fall).
